New version has been released.

also a new version of the demo without the softwrap around it. from the web site

Cricket Coach - Version 1.03

Released April 15th 2006: Download here

This version allows you to play the game for 3 days after you install it (including the day you first play), it also has a maximum of 15 uses. After this point you will need to purchase the game to continue to play. This can be done securely over the internet through the title itself.

We plan to release regular updates to the game, users only need purchase the game once, one licence is valid for all future updates.

Please note: We advise that you make use of the trial period before purchasing the game, this will enable you to see how the game runs on your computer. Despite being mainly text based the game performs many thousands of calculations per second, therefore the system requirements are higher than you may initially expect.

Should you have any issues with running the game on your computer, please contact us via the About page of this site.

Cricket Coach - Playable Demo

Released April 15th 2006: Download here

This version is designed for those who have had problems running the Softwrap version of the game. This version won't time out after 3 days or 15 uses, but only allows play for 2 months as an English county, or as either England or Sri Lanka. If you are finding the above version doesn't seem to work then this version will allow you to sample what the game has to offer. If you wish to purchase the game after playing this version please contact us

Hmm, been playing 1.0.3 and a few bugs occured, I have no screenies though as trying to take them ended up crashing the game. I was England and were 1031-8 at the time. however, Geraint Jones got out for 240 something yet stayed in with Pietersen, who then stopped batting randomly at 295n.o. Jones carried on until he went around the 360 mark. Then Giles started batting with himself, both batsman down as Giles and him getting many runs.

Very very weird, and some hilarious scores. Wanted to see how many I could've got but the game "encountered an error" and had to close.

Still as too many bugs to justify paying for it.

In the course of just 1 days trial (2 four day and 2 1 day games) I've seen:
Bicknell bowling from both ends at once (this is Darren Bicknell for Nottinghamshire)
Neil Carter promoted up the order on full aggression scoring 19 from 72 balls in a one day game.
Ponting and Martyn bowling Australia to ODI victories.
Mick Lewis takes a wicket, but instead of me losing a wicket, I get to replace him as bowler (halfway through an over) and then carry on as if nothing has happened.
Bowlers bowling 6 dot balls but getting no maiden.
Bowlers conceding runs in an over that is then called a maiden.
Brad Hodge 5-23 to bowl Australia to an ODI win.
40 overs lost in an OD but then time goes back to where the rain started from.
Owais Shah bowling 22 overs in an FC game, my batsmen attacking him at full, but him only going for 31 runs.

I'd love to know how an error like that can be blamed on the user?!
Well I rarely get bowlers going for 10 an over! Very few have reported it since the earlier patches were released and so, unless the user in question has not updated to 1.05, then it's hardly 'an error'.

You knob i meant AI bowlers bowling more than 10 overs in an ODI (i am playing Bangladesh league).

Other errors
1.WI and Aus having a test match and an ODI series at the same time. What i mean the same day they have an ODI and a test match being played.
2. Pak going to Aus in nov 2008 and plays just 3 Odi's then in Dec they go to play test series in NZ ,then again in feb they go to NZ to play another test series.
3.Database is still pathetic for Pakistan especially.
