Cpr & Clapo both break our "tipping the first goalscorer" duck by correctly opting for Modric, but sadly neither went for 1-0 to the Croats, so have to be content with a share of first spot with NUFAN, Vimes, altoz, Somerset & Threes, who all did. Grecian & Halsey pick up an extra point for the one-goal margin, but the rest of us have to be content with three for the Croatian win, save Rubble & stedly who tipped a draw & an Austrian win respectively.

We now have an outright leader! Thanks to an impressive hat-trick of correct scores, NUFAN is now out on his own. Halsey & Somers are tied in second with 16 with altoz & 99* only a point further back. New tipster Threes props things up, but is only a point shy of grecian & Barney just above him after opening his account with a spot-on prediction.

Two perfect scores! Stedly & all-round tipping guru NUFAN both go for Germany 2-0 with Podolski as first scorer to get the perfect 9; Steulen manages to talk himself out of it by changing his tip to Gomez at the last minute.

NUFAN now has a five point cushion at the top from Tom with tozzer a further point back in third. One point covers the next 7 tipsters, with steds a big climber thanks to his full-house in the German game. Threes moves from the foot after his second game, with Jamee, despite four correct predictions, replacing him.

How ****ing ****ed off was i last night when at 0-0, Klose breaks through, only to pass to Podolski to roll in the opener. Strikers are meant to be selfish ffs.
