1970's New Zealand Report

Bevan Congdon used Duncan Fearnley bats and one season he had one that had several half large marble sized craters on the reverse side. These were coloured in black. Murray Parker also used Duncan Fearnley bats and his was distinctive for the very small 3 wicket logo on the front. Wicket Keeper Ken Wadsworth also used Duncan Fearnley bats.

Bevan Congdon and Glenn Turner (who of course played for Worcester).

My first proper bat was a DF Supreme Bevan Congdon. Beautiful bat with a wonderful sweetspot
