Draft idea - may need work...

Teuton

International Vice-Captain
Oh I have a double pick I think,

Steve Smith (4/12/2013 - 12/9/2019)

55 matches, 6177 runs @73

JOJOXI

State Captain
Did he time out or just missed out?

He can take the double pick before I make my next one.
Missed out although he would have timed out 2hrs ago, kingkallis timed out and you were tagged on basis of you being next according to the quoted upcoming picks

Should have taken his last 10 matches where he averaged 10.

Take your second pick now if you want, only seems fair as you got skipped.

I realise now that picking MoYo (35 tests, 3713 runs at 62.93) wasn't the wisest thing to do. I'll have Keith Miller's first 50 tests (2727 runs at 38.40, 153 wkts at 22.92)

4) Mohammad Yousuf (35 tests, 3713 runs at 62.93)
5) Keith Miller (50 tests, 2727 runs at 38.40, 153 wkts at 22.92)

So now that I'm actually looking at the numbers more closely, it's slightly difficult to decide which peak to go for. If I consider Ambrose's career, I could go with any one of these really:

  • 40 Test peak where he has 189 wickets at 19.12
  • 30 Test peak where he has 158 wickets at 18.41
  • A much shorter peak of about 15 Tests where he averages around 17

The 30 Test peak sounds like the one to go with, but it really depends on who else I pick who might have a better/worse 40 Test peak. In short, I think it's difficult to decide without having a rough idea of who else you end up picking.
