Again, the short straws story. Purple would be better than orange, although it's just a lesser of two evils. I'd still rather aqua. :p If the name is the colts, I see no harm in us picking a different shade of blue. Aqua would rule, though - a nice mix of green and blue. Actually, whatever happened to multicoloured teams? :p

But seriously, maybe we should let the players of the team decide the colour. No point in having the players of different teams getting involved, so let's wait for the players to be announced first.

I definitely think White, Yellow, Orange or Gold is teh way to go. Nothign wrong with them at all!!

I think yellow as we have the other two primary colours in Blue and Red, plus once we have Yellow, we can use the mixture colours of Orange and Purple if required.

Exactly why you should change from your currently limited structure. It's easy for someone in the existing colours to spout out colours for new teams, but they've really been left with little to desire to choose from. I'm hugely in favour of giving every team their own choice of team name, be it a colour or not. It's nothing if not fair, and no harm can come of it.

I am definitely partial to Green - the captain, the players and the atmosphere and comradery are all fantastic and make me proud to be on the team. However I'm also partial to supporting the youth of the game. I'm also hoping to stay on the same team as Majin, and on top of all that I'd really hope not to play for an Orange or Purple - and DEFINITELY not yellow! :p So we'll see how things go.

All the names need to have a common link, and with the constant changes in names there's no real identifying going on, hence I think colours should stay, then it's a case of finding a colour.

Yeah colours is the way to go, but maybe when the team is named, they in association with CW Cricket board can decide on the colour....

Constant change? It would be a one-time-only change, this season. I don't see the massive need for a common link either. What common link do the County team names have in English cricket?

I agree with Kenny that the team should decide rather than everyone else who won't end up playing in the colours. And I still think it's unfair to limit the colour options so much. The two shades of blue (Sky and Navy?) used for the CW forums are just as different to each other as Red is to Orange, or Green is to Yellow.
