**Dev League Season 6**

hahah that first century can prove ellusive for some, i got mine a couple of games ago, tok me two seasons. then there are otehrs who have like got 5 this season. but ahwell. my average is in the high 40's, maybe im more like richardson, solid contribution most times, rather than one big one every now and again.

Disappointed with my performance.Need to do double net sessions now to return to form.A win the OD puts in for a good chance at first if the other teams fail.

im with you there, you can pass on a few tips with the ball too, im thinking i might do abit more bowling in the future and i could use abit of help - im way way out of practice :(

Mr Wright - This new ball combination between you and me has kicked off very well, each taking 5 wickets for the game.

Great win for the reds, and yes it was good that the players who scored wernt international players, shows that we can perform on our day. Cant wait for the international guys to get over the jet lag and churning out some big runs.

Lookforward to the next 1D game, where i hope we can continue this decent form.

SOUTH AFRICA 'A' 277/6 50.0 overs
AUSTRALIA 'A' 278/5 47.1 overs

Australia 'A' won by 5 wickets

Man of the match: Michael Clarke
---
ENGLAND 'A' 174/8 50.0 overs
CRICKET WEB RED 176/6 39.2 overs

Cricket Web Red won by 4 wickets

Man of the match: Zaid Ghansar

Coach's Comments:
Steady bowling from all involved was complemented by the steady batting of Jagaways and Deeps in this one. No outstanding performance to note, just a solid allround performance.
---
VETERANS XI 229/9 50.0 overs
INDIA A 232/5 49.2 overs

India A won by 5 wickets

Man of the match: Amit Mishra
---
ZIMBABWE XI 94 25.3 overs
CRICKET WEB GREEN 95/1 22.0 overs

Cricket Web Green won by 9 wickets

Man of the match: Sanz

Coach's Comments:
Explosive seam bowling by Rose, Timewell and Sanz saw Zimbabwe hanging on for dear life at 55/8, before a mini-revival was staged by Flower and Strang. The chase was obviously quite comfortable, with Mr Mxyzptlk the only casualty (to a contentious decision ;)). Spectacular win.
---
NEW ZEALAND 'A' 177/9 50.0 overs
CRICKET WEB BLUE 179/7 46.4 overs

Cricket Web Blue won by 3 wickets

Man of the match: Chris Broadbent

Coach's Comments:
You won't find many better opening bursts than that produced by Chris Broadbent today, to catalyze the Kiwi slide to 44/7. Indeed, all the bowlers bowled well, with the spinner hard to get away and the seamers accurate and aggressive. The chase was not as easy as some may think. Yovich and Hitchcock kept plugging out wicket after wicket and it was StUEy's half-century that truly stood out in the end. This caps off a great day for the CW teams.
