CW Premiership Season 2 Results and Discussion

Round 12
East Coast Fury - Island Swell
Nixontown Nomads - Northside Power
Southern Dynamo - Central United

No teamsheet received from Dynamo. Last sheet used and adapted for injuries and suspensions.

After an unfortunate delay, the CW Premiership season continued.

Goal starved Fury had all they could handle with the visit of the talented but unpredictable Swell

Frontrunners, Power, looked to continue their push for honours against a Nomads team that was terribly short of form.

Dynamo and United came together in a game that would either tighten the table or increasingly make the Premiership look like a 3 horse race.

Team of the week, table, injuries, suspensions and other stats are here

Whoh! What a result!

The Nixontown defense should be particularly embarrassed that they let yours truly score two goals despite shooting ability of '1'.

What a cracking game for The Power!

Slightly disappointed to not get a win in a game we dominated. That said, we were huge underdogs, so to keep the Swell scoreless, and come away with the draw was a satisfying result.

Revenge for that stupid 1-1 draw at the start of season there. Annoyed we let in a goal though.
Harsh task master

I can imagine Power locked in the dressing room for 20 mins being screamed at for letting in a goal whilst their fans are celebrating a massive win. :)

Any half which has a side scoring 7 goals is a great game. Was that Travis' first ever goal? Thamba had an extremely good game, was great his play in the 82nd minute was finished off by myself to put the score into double figures. Our midfield found the net as well, was a brilliant game all round. Can't complain about scoring 1 goal when our side manages to slot in another 9.

Argh, may not be submitting many timesheets in the future so if anyone else from Dynamo wants a shot at captaincy let me know.
