The normal awards that everyone else has
Not pedantic about spelling, I say.

Johnson, Taylor, Truman and Jackson all have players, but I think we should do first names of the cricketer as well - that includes Arthur and Garfield as well without checking.

If someone could make a list tonight of possible players, it would really help me - unfortunately I'm out all of tonight and most of tomorrow - if not I'll do it tomorrow night.
I think if you change the clause to-

"Player shares a first or last name with a USA president",

it'll be a lot simpler, but still challenging enough.

kingkallis - Select a batsman who played his highest amount of innings in a spot from 1-6 who was dismissed by Warne/Muralitharan
Just to clarify one more....does the batsman need to have been dismissed by both Warne and Murali; or one of Warne/Murali?

I recommend that proof be submitted when the player is selected - eg. appropriate scorecard.

You can't just say: 'Dismissed by Murali - WG Grace'

Why would you make a pool of potential players? Half the effort is doing the groundwork yourself.

Final clause list

watson - boxing day century scorer (MCG)
Cevno - played FC cricket with a team starting with G (test player)
Blakus - select a player who has not been selected in both previous drafts
AZH - someone who clean bowled Bradman in tests
Himannv - test debut before WWII
kyear - played test cricket in WI, England and Australia (other countries permitted too)
Monk - select a player with a test batting average of between 25 and 40
Eds - Select a player to debut post-WWII
Michael - Shares a surname with a US president/vice president
Jager - select a female test cricketer
Marcuss - Select a player dismissed as part of a test cricket hat-trick
kingkallis - Select a batsman who played his highest amount of innings in a spot from 1-6 who was dismissed by Warne/Muralitharan
Just to clarify:

Watson's Clause: Select a player who has scored a century during a Boxing Day Test Match at the MCG - Not just on December 26th.

(Although, now that I think about it, it is possible that there could be 12 good batsman who have scored a century on Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test. But let's not go there unless someone is desperate for homework)

International Debutant
Going with Jager's interpretation of my clause I'll take Garfield Sobers - Shares name with US President as my first selection

Charter 77 So Far

Garfield Sobers

So are we allowed to use the "first" name of the President as well or only "surname" is final?
Well Michael (whose clause it was), used James Garfield to match with Garfield Sobers. So I'd assume it's going to be fairly liberal in that respect. Last name/First name of President can equal either Last name/First name of player, it looks like.

Sounds reasonable

Let's all agree with the boss - apart from the 'make a list' bit.

I also assume that Donald Bradman is off-limits as per usual.
