Ok i have had a few people coming to me and asking why are the averages being capped at the end of the season...
I have no idea where these rumours have come from and can say honestly that there is no substance to them whatsoever...
The average update will work as it did last season by going on the statistics in the players VC4 line...
If your player has played a heap of matches and has a good or bad season it will lessen the effect on his average when it is updated...
However on the other hand players with less experience who have a good or bad season will be effected more... Now in saying this, it does not mean that the players average will drop by 15 or 20 it may increase by 5 or 10 depending on his season...
2 examples to look at...
John Smith has played 200 career games before this season and has an average of 50..
During the season he hits 952 runs from 10 innings @ 95.2...
His average would go up to approximatley 51-52...
John Smith Jr however has played only 23 games before this season with an average of 52..
During the season he hits 862 runs from 9 Innings @ 95.77..
His average would go up to approximatley 58-59...
These are examples of how the system works, and to re-clarify there is NO CAP ON AVERAGES!!!!
