TBH, never bothered me in the slightest. I support who I support, people dont like em then meh, not my problem. When we win stuff its not me sat there ranting about it :)

Can't really make friends when your team's successful though. It's a choice between admitting your team's good and sounding arrogant and horrendous false modesty that makes everyone cringe.

Needless to say, i'd rather we won than anyone like us.

Never met anyone who gives a toss in fairness, never notice it really. Only get annoyed by people calling us Man Ure, on the grounds its about as witty and funny as anal rape. Instantly makes the writer/speaker turn his well thought out argument into some drivel coming out of an 8 year olds (or a News of the World writers) mouth

Yeah, agree with that. We have plenty of abusive songs about City with the name "City" in them and none of their fans write tedious essays on why they shouldn't call themselves that.

Without wanting to sound too condescending here, but kinda know plenty of people who supported utd in the 'old days'. Infact know a whole city of them. Plenty of people i speak to regularly saw the likes of Charlton, Best, even Edwards, play in the flesh. Trust me when i say i dont know anyone who gets offended by 'Man U' includes many fans from years gone by
