Anyone know what happens if you go bankrupt?
Not much. You get charged interest while you're overdrawn though. If your debt goes over 350k you get booted.

The bank will give you an overdraft facility up to £350,000. If you exceed that level at the time of your countries weekly financial update then the Bank will give you a week to get back below the threshold. If you fail, then you will be declared bankrupt and lose your team! So be very, very careful with debt.
There you are Jamee

Has anyone hired more than 3 PRs yet? I'm thinking of hiring another one but will wait til the confidence recovers after my probable cup exit - might also hire another Sports Psychologist (I have 5 already).

Oh yea and maybe another financial advisor... getting 2.4k in interest a week.

I'm thinking of getting another PR (3 at the moment) because sponsors' confidence is below the max, and they seem to bring in a fair bit of income. I've got six psychologists, though I can't really vouch for their effectiveness yet. Might begin to see better results once I start using a fielding coach. I would get another couple of financial advisors if I hadn't just spent 85% of my bank balance.

Don't worry, he'll definitely go for more than 50k. Funny name though, Dylan Dillon. Stupidest name i've seen in BT though is Seymour Newdick, poor guy.
Yea, he went for £71,401...

Yeah just saw that, very good buy. Surprising, usually 17yo competent batsman will go for more than that, even with low secondaries; even better that he can bowl a bit as well.

I've been trying to sell some of my dud bowlers (26 and 29yo competents), set the minimum at 30k but no bidders. I think I'll wait a few weeks until the inactive managers get booted and replaced by cashed-up managers willing to waste their money.

The bowling is an absolute bonus - I have 2 spinners, one is mediocre/abysmal and the other feeble/abysmal... they're both in their 20s and are being sold as soon as anyone vaguely decent comes along. I think I'm gonna end up rotating the training each week for him - which of these combinations do you think would produce the least waste of the sports psychologists?

Batting/bowling one week fielding other week
Batting/fielding one week bowling other week
Bowling/fielding one week batting other week

I'll give you a game if that's alright, I'm not very knowledgable on how the game works at the moment so I'll probably get spanked but my team is called Boggles in India. :D

Conc and cons pop faster when fielding is used in conjunction with batting or bowling, so the one of the latter two would be best (as there isn't any additional advantage from training batting in conjunction with bowling).

Apparently (I haven't tried it yet, but others vouch for it) 1 batting and 1 fielding coach every week with 5 psychologists will result in a conc pop every 2-3 weeks and cons every 3-4 weeks, (conc/cons times swapped if you use a bowling coach). So if you wanted conc and cons to develop at the same rate you'd probably have to go:
wk1) batting; wk2) bowling/fielding; wk3) bowling; wk4) batting/fielding.

If you wanted to focus on conc for batting then use your second option, cons will still develop at a fair rate anyway.

Decided to give Dillon fielding, batting and bowling sessions each week for the time being. Stamina is looking a bit crap overall tho, now have 3 players in the first XI with abysmal stamina, 2 with woeful stamina - although I've still never really noticed much of an effect with stamina in a game.

Most of my players have pretty ordinary stamina, though my five best players also have the best stamina, perhaps not coincidentally. I think the FC matches will probably demonstrate the effects of stamina a bit better, with players with abysmal stamina (particularly bowlers) likely to be fairly useless by the third day. I'm just using one stamina slot on rotation at the moment, might get another one before the FC matches start.

Just noticed the new bowling orders. I was hoping that the 'sets 5' thing would allow you to use a fifth and sixth bowler for five overs each, which would be very handy, but unfortunately not. My impression of the 'b4&5 finish' order is that it is designed to facilitate specialist death bowlers - probably those with high consistency but relatively poor primary skill. It would also be useful against weak batting sides as you can bowl your best bowlers through fairly quickly without having them bowl ten overs straight. The 'sets of 5' order looks pretty good, as most of my bowlers have low stamina and can't bowl a good seven over straight, let alone ten. Also means only one of the openers is bowling at the death, which suits me. Might use it this week.

Kipper XI v Blue Bay CC @ Trentington Oval (Play on Take it Easy)

Blue Bay CC: 7-219 (50)

Cairns 44
Davies 2-31 (10)

Kipper XI: 2-221 (38.1)

Brydon 107*
Dove 51

Result: Kipper XI win by 8 wickets

MOTM: Brydon (Kipper XI)

An easier win there then expected, given i was playing on TIE, Brydon's 3rd MOTM in a row
