Another easy win, with solid performances by the batsmen as well as Sainsbury. Didn't sell out my ground but got 80k to put me near 500k

Foxy

Total (49.2 overs, 10 wickets) 255

Sainsbury 7/49 (9)

Got Spin

Total (39.0 overs, 3 wickets) 256

Mccammon run out for 106 (109)
Saunders 117* (114)

Still got alright ratings. With my money ill either buy a bowler or a batsmen as i need about one more proficient batsmen

Got Spin Foxy
Top Order: proficient feeble
Middle Order: woeful feeble
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: feeble feeble
Spin Bowling: useless feeble
Fielding: woeful woeful

Mccammon now has 3 100's and one 50 from 5 innings which is nice :)

Morale and fitness is getting close to maxing out, and now im coming 2nd in my league but have the highest NRR

Your squad isn't too bad (pretty good for a new team actually), just that most of your good players have crap stamina. David Mee is your best training prospect as far as bowling goes - Viljoen is good as well but he needs a lot more stamina (at least feeble). Coates could be a very good WK/batsman if you train him up in batting, WK and stamina. Findlay is easily your best bat but has poor stamina so give him a stamina net as well.

I'd focus on those four for now; Pidgley, Singh and Paris are all young and have good primaries but their stamina and secondaries suck so I wouldn't bother with them. Might be able to squeeze one other trainee in there, but players who don't have decent stamina and/or secondaries require too many nets IMO. You should have a pretty decent team within a season but don't expect much success too soon.

Batting first against the best team in the West Indies:

NorCricket United won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Dusty

End of Over 6: 40-0, runrate=6.67
Mcgregor 3-0-18-0
Cuss* 15 (16 balls)
Wynand 25 (20 balls)

Good start, will be a bit difficult later on as they've got two good spinners on a dusty pitch. They've just sold a batsman so if I can get through their top four somehow I'll have a chance, as long as I've got 250+ on the board. Watkins up to energetic fitness so will be bowling as well as batting at four.

Hinshelwood's having a go!

Code:
43.6 4 Long to Hinshelwood
Drops it in a little too short and Hinshelwood plays a great cut, freeing the arms and cutting it away through cover point, Lyon gives chase to no avail.
43.5 4 Long to Hinshelwood
    Four! Great shot by Hinshelwood.
43.4 4 Long to Hinshelwood
Excellent sweep shot from Hinshelwood. The ball sped like a Ferrari to the boundary!
43.3 . Long to Hinshelwood
Pitched into the footmarks, turns sharply, Hinshelwood thrusts his pad at it with bat aloft.
43.2 4 Long to Hinshelwood
Slog-sweep away on the leg side, one bounce and four.
43.1 1 Long to Bardle
Pushed through to the on side. The bowler chases after it for a bit but gives up and lets deepish mid on pick it up. Easy single for the batsmen.
262-9 after 44 chasing 317 to win.

Great. Cuss (wonderful/strong) gets out for 32, Watkins (remarkable/wonderful) out for 9. Ashton meanwhile is defending everything in sight. Should've TIE'd.

V. briefly before I go home, had a more or less walk-over today, as the half-tidy team I was due to play got kicked out overnight, and a brand= new team got thrown in at the deep end, before their poor new manager had even had a chance to log on. So I rolled them for 78 on TIE, three a piece for Bewers and Edworthy, two for Cric, who's loving bullying these Div V sides, and two runouts. Knocked off 81/0 in 10.0, Greening 58*(35), Staveley 20* (25). Greening MOTM.

I had TIE ratings of Resp/Med/Abs - Med/Prof/Feeb, as opposed to my Cup opponent's usual ratings of Prof/Med/Abs - Comp/Resp/Feeb. But they lost today, and I'm pretty sure they GFIed too, as they had Strong/Comp batting and Resp/Prof bowling, so I reckon I can do them on GFI - A, because both their Morale and fitness are going to be lower than they have been in recent weeks, and B, because, looking at some of the league matches they've got coming up, they'd be crazy as a fish in a brothel if they GFIed again on Sunday!

I know that there's only cash to be gained from the Cup for a club as small as me, but cash is exactly what I need at the moment. And WTF! If I lose then I've only got some more dross to see off next Friday, so I'll soon recover my fitness and morale!

Later, Trev, (The flat-track bully!)

Won my match easily in the end against whom I think are the best team in my league. Not sure but I think I GFId it. Means I'll rest my best players for the friendly I have. With this win I should go to the top of my league.
