I've had two competents and a mediocre in about 18 weeks, with investment at 8-12k the whole time, generally my youth pulls are fired straightaway on account of their crapness.

Well that one had woeful wicket-keeping, that's the highest of the main 3 skills I've had so far. This is the highest one I've had in terms of BT rating:

Del Mcdonagh (279656)
LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, proficient form, Healthy
An attacking player with mediocre leadership skills and worthless experience.

Plays For: Scaly Piscine CC
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 6,542
Wages: £250 p/w

Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: proficient
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: abysmal
Fielding: abysmal

I trained him for a week before I bought someone on the cheap who had feeble/feeble batting. Someone has bid £1000 for the above player, I expect they'd be a good FC player with that concentration if you could ever be bothered training them (and if the 3-day games to come in at some point in the near future)

That's the problem with BT ratings, they seem to give equal weighting to secondary and primary skills, which seems ridiculous to me as an abysmal batsman is never going to be remotely useful regardless of his concentration level.

Oh, and Jamee, fire him. Or get him to carry the drinks, his stamina's impressive.
