great news for zim cricket

okay i have to make it clear, i have nothing against elton chigumbura, but that guy was letting zim down. averaging just 21 with the bat and a shocking 158 in about 20 odi's is unacceptable. i just hope brendan leads the team by example. it's a tough job no doubt, the seam department is dead, the batting line up is fragile and the team's self belief isn't that high. all i can say is good luck BT you're gonna need it!

Kind of ironic he shares either the first or last name with both of the candidates that were up for NZ captain, Brendon McCullum and Ross Taylor. Though his first name is spelled differently.

Anyways hope he does well Zimbabwe needs to step it up in cricket again.
