Don't know much about this brand of footy but the best I've seen are Betts, Hudson, Blight and Matthews. The last mentioned taking the plum.

Buddy and Goodes too, for Madden (Only started watching in the 90s) and... Not sure

I’ve never followed AFL, only know some random names from the childhood but, surely we’d have at least one AFL fan here who saw Leigh Matthews?

I’ll concede I completely forgot Buckley. Roo a great player too. I’ve got Winmar for some pace as a winger or midfielder.

Madden was without a doubt the best ruckman I’ve seen. Goodes and Buddy were good but they can’t displace Lockett, Dunstall or Carey as key forwards.
