October and November should be out - no pre-season training, no drafts, no exchange period

Everyone starts back up again on 1 December

It's the only sport where the pre-season goes longer than the home and away season!

Even the AFL Channel is still chugging along

you can't start pre-season training on the same day you start player movement. and you can't do any of the draft stuff (camp or the draft) at any other date. it's mostly set in stone.

Hmmm, not sold on Jacobs, lets hope the change of environment help him. Provided we get Hine as well we will have picked up 3 guys with a couple of years in the system though so they should be more ready to go than fresh draftees.
