Seems like your lot are more bothered about celebrating not losing the series then actually trying to draw the series.

Asia Cup more important or something. The IPL was more important last time than beating us in a series.
There's no reason why India couldn't have fielded a 4 man pace attack and with Bumrah in it. This way his workload would have been much less in this test, so it'd have been safer for him to play.

With hindsight he'd have sat out Old Trafford and played this one every time. Just burned himself out on the wrong pitch.
He made no difference to the end result, but they’d have been mental not to pick him for OT, if they had lost, then he’d have been available for a dead rubber, India weren’t to know that this pitch would be much better for bowling than OT

We’re ones to speak tbf as our franchise competition has completely wrecked our 50 over team, and arguably contributed to our talismanic all-rounder not being available for this game

We have a coach with a mindset more aligned to white ball cricket. Very few specialists, stacking the team with so called 'all-rounders' who aren't exactly showing that all-round ability.

Even the captain has a similar mindset. Watch Gill spread out the field if these two smack a few more boundaries.
