I see on cricinfo that Zimbabwe is doing brilliantly vs SL in an ODI, but we don't have a thread for it. SL are a decent chance of not qualifying for the 2023 CWC so a huge game for them. 161/3 after 29.

He got a lot of deserved praise for his Sydney batting fight but Stokes was awful this match.

From the moment he was playing a loose leg glance with a leg slip there yesterday could tell he was mentally on the flight home, as his two dismissals showed.

And probably around the time Root was dismissed, you could just tell the side were thinking about the bonus of going home two days early.

I’d say they’ve been thinking this since the morning session on day 1 at the Gabba tbh.

I mean in the first innings he was visibly unfit. Shots that he would usually play without issue were skewing off the inside half of the bat because he was restricted by the side strain.

More brilliant management by the English setup...

Probably same guy

Wood has been in isolation for better part of the year and has been talking to his mates

He isn’t happy as England setup is completely dysfunctional
It appears to be a dog's breakfast. Management in particular.
