How can Abbas be ranked so highly with just 60 innings ?
I mean if you are talking about contribution to ODI cricket so many other ODI batsmen have done a hell of a lot more even from Pakistan itself ...I feel men like Anwar , Miandad , Inzamam have had much better ODI careers than Abbas who mainly picked because of the statistical anomaly of his average and strike rate in his era ..Surely it takes far more than a quick glance at the general stats to rank a batsman.

Yes. You’re ***ual preference isn’t my concern, but don’t try to make implications about me over a spelling. It’s trivial to spell a name right. The moderators are too disrespectful to change the Rudi Koertzen thread to the right spelling so I’m not surprised you think it’s normal behaviour.

Many (not all) cricket followers think the 4 best ODI batsmen of all time are Viv, Sachin, ABDV, and Kohli. For the point of this voting exercise that is being assumed. Who do you think is 5th best?
I think Dhoni is infact in top 4.

He and Viv were head and shoulders above the rest
