4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Conditions in England are as batting friendly as ever since WW2. This is full-blown batting era going on in England. If you have a test now that lasts FOUR complete days, it is equivalent to a test that lasted five full days in the 1990s; such is the difference in scoring rates and batting techniques. Game really has accelerated. Therefore if you 'now' have tests lasting full five days, then those pitches are undoubtedly ****ing roads or highways. (taking into account the high scoring rates, greater risking taking and poor techniques of half the batters)

Flat track bully like Gill has passed 700 runs in 4 tests. Rahul has passed 500 for the first time. Pant was 21 runs away from 500 himself but got injured. Jadeja is not far away from 500 either. Matches are going all the way, in stark contrast to tests around the world. So these really are abnormal pitches. No surprises that the Indians as well as bazballers (including Root) are all stat-padding for fun. Most of these bazball conditions since 2022 - really need to be seen in the same light as the roads of 2000s. Only reason they are getting results is because they bat fast, otherwise there'd been several draws already. Atrocious dead pitches in three of the four tests so far.

Complete opposite of conditions in 2010 and 2011 when Pakistan and India toured.

I like Ben Stokes a lot, and think he's one of England's better leaders in modern cricket history. But his sportsmanship is very poor, and it shows. Don't have to be such a f-wit and an a**hole just cause you didn't get the win you were entitled to. Even Harry Brook as well. Gives his wicket cheaply and yet says it's fun not to be nice guys. Such a moron.

Don't want to hear nothing from the Brits about the spirit of the game, and I say this as someone who loves watching England.

Very happy to have a road on the last test for the series win but I don't think this has been a great series overall.

You have to be the most pathetic poster in this forum, we saw a thrilling Test literally the last match, stop whining and enjoy the Cricket, and if you can't then just don't post or watch the series.

Think we’d have seen these pitches regardless of BazBall with the lack of rain, Stokes has long wanted fast bouncy wickets but he’s just got these dead tracks (Lord’s provided a little bit more for the bowlers late on, but Old Trafford has probably been the most turgid of the lot as it hasn’t even been that easy to score runs on)

im sure you take great satisfaction beating Zimbabwe and Ireland and having West Indies and Sri Lanka tour. The cricket equivalent of the battle of Mbuto George
India got wiped out by New Zealand in India last year while England won 2-1 in New Zealand, try again.
