WAC Ben Stokes, lol @ saving test cricket. Couldn’t even bowl out an Indian side with one batter down and 0/2
And a country of one and a half billion people where cricket is the number one sport can’t beat a country of 70 million where cricket is the number 3 sport.

What a cracker of a match. India have drawn a test against all odds. One of the greatest escapes in history. Johannesburg 1995, Old Trafford 2005, Sydney 2021, and back at OT 2025. From 0/2 to seeing the game off, this will boost their confidence greatly. Full credit to Rahul, Gill, Jadeja, and Sundar.

On a separate note, valiant effort from the England bowlers (except in the closing overs). Brilliant batting from Ben Stokes and Joe Root. I think Root is going to be regarded as among Britain's greatest sportsmen. Forever a fan of his.

All to play for in a few day's time with the backdrop of the green South London suburbs at The Oval. Sad that this series is almost over, but proud to have been a witness to why test cricket is the best format ever. Every lesson of life you can think of can be learned by playing the truest form of the game.
