I'd expect the majority of his exposure to such would have been during the 2023 Ashes when he was in his purple patch. They've just said on TMS that Crawley averages 80 against 88mph+ bowling. The highest of England players on record.
Eng would have a very good chance of winning the ashes if they picked their best team there for all five games tbh (Robinson, Archer, Bethell, and Dawson should all be picked). It would be one of the rare times Eng would have a better batting lineup than Aus.cummins, hazelwood and starc currently in the process of signing a big thank you card that will shortly be delivered to the indian bowling attack.
it's not that different than Greenidge and HaynesThese are the 30th opening pair in Tests to make it to 5 century stands. Their average of 45 is middling but as you'd expect they take top spot for scoring rate where it's been recorded.

I do agree with Cricinfo's claim that Hobbs and Rhodes faced at least 13 balls, though I'm not sure it's much to go on to get that estimate.
damn what was joe burns record through that period? These are the 30th opening pair in Tests to make it to 5 century stands. Their average of 45 is middling but as you'd expect they take top spot for scoring rate where it's been recorded.

Did Pakistan have a particularly speedy attack when he hit his 267?I'd expect the majority of his exposure to such would have been during the 2023 Ashes when he was in his purple patch.
just Naseem Shah would have hit 88+ regularly IIRC, maybe some from ShaheenDid Pakistan have a particularly speedy attack when he hit his 267?
Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi (before they bowled into the dust) both played that gameDid Pakistan have a particularly speedy attack when he hit his 267?

Even the original Afridi could bowl quicker when he wanted to than some of our seamers.Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi (before they bowled into the dust) both played that game
