3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

If someone is a real team man, just celebrate when you help your team overtake the opposition's total. Raise your bat then! Just change things up. India needs a change in perspective. These batters start behaving so differently once they enter 90s. And then they let out these crazy roars and still bloody lose after scoring five individual hundreds in the first test. They get a 100 and soon after get out because they have achieved "their goal". Reference- the two collapses in the first test.
Strange attitude towards milestones from someone called centurymaker.

Look at Rahul celebrating his hundred smh. An Australian or English batsman would never
You're missing the point ffs. Milestone culture is glorified in India. Thats a fact.

Maybe you would want to get a VPN and stream matches from Indian streaming apps. The glazing of individuals and milestones is pretty insane.

You can criticise the milestone culture whilst not being completely insane about it though.

Of course it is, but the players don't go for it more than players from other teams.

You can't also deny that from a neutral pov, the last few overs of cricket have been very, very funny. Quality entertainment

This is just complete nonsense. Like, genuinely struggle to know where to even start with this.

This is the kind of bizarre thinking that ruins teams, not enhances them; I can't even call it a Langerism because it's so out there.
See what I said. They will get their individual hundred and relax and get out!

India's (and Eng's) misery brings the rest of the cricketing world happiness, we get it.
I mean if anything I'm leading slightly towards India this series because this kind of cricket that has become the norm in England really shouldn't be rewarded, but I'll never say no to comedy

It is fair to say that we lost two needless wickets initiated by a player wanting to get to a milestone asap. It doesn't matter if it was Rishabh's call. The sensible thing to do was play out the over but instead the momentum has completely shifted towards England. Small moments that decide a result.

It’s okay for players and teammates to celebrate individual milestones but it shouldn’t influence team tactics that risk their overall position in the game. I think that’s what being said.

It absolutely matters if it was his call...? That makes the run out his responsibility. Not Rahul's.

It hardly did that though. All it did was make Pant make a mistake. That's all.

Nothing controversial just extremely boring with nothing insightful from someone who I thought was considered a good thinker/captain. He did repeat about 5 times that Gill has a long way to go and a lot more to learn in being a Test captain lol.
Yeah. They asked who is the better bowler of Anderson and Broad and he says both are good bowlers. Just safeplay. Boring interview.

Yup, this has been a terrible match so far

I don't think that's unique to India. Pretty sure it's the case across cricket that dismissals are more common between 100-109 than in the 90s. Root got out for 104 just yesterday.
