Rahul gave Pant a weird look when Pant didn't take a double earlier in the over.Because of that Rahul lost the strike and Pant wanted to put him back on...How freaking stupid with 3 balls to go.
India has been losing wickets right before LUNCH all bloody series. Have learnt jack all. Pant was almost caught on boundary last over too. He's been a train wreck.
For all we know Pant could have been out 5-10 overs after lunch anyway given the way he's been playing but still that was just dumb. It can shift the whole momentum in England's favor if India lose more wickets soon after.

It was Pant's single for sure but the way he started and stopped, I'm pretty sure it was KL who called him through. Should have held firm and just sent him back.

Rahul first dropped Jamie Smith which cost heaps of runs and now this milestone oriented run out.. which is gonna cost plenty of runs.. Rahul better make up for it by getting at least 150+ now. And he better not take his helmet off after reaching 100. **** no. Gambhir needs to have a stern word. If i was Rahul, I wouldn't even raise my bat after one hundred. Internalise all the emotions and take it upon himself. This whole milestone culture gotta go. If Gambhir can end the careers of Kohli Rohit and Ashwin, he should get rid of this culture as well.

Pant selflessly ran himself out coz the Brits were obviously never gonna get him out, and he knew that if he scores a 100 outside India, India will lose the test. That is a match winning run out for India from Pant.

Game is evenly poised now. We would have had our noses in front had that wicket not fallen but now they are into the allrounders and our tail. I hope Jaddu bats 6 and bats long with Rahul but I fear the collapse is what we will get here.
