There's going to be a few dull matches coming up. SA-Aus (would have been a cracking fixture normally), SL-WI (yawn), India-SL (potentially), Afg-WI.

All of those except for the last 2 would normally be extremely compelling matchups.

Both teams are probably at their lowest point in history as ODI teams (disregarding Sri Lanka's minnow years).

That Dickwella should have been playing in the World Cup. Did quite well in Sri Lanka's A tour to India; would have been better than a lot of these guys..

Slinga Malinga is probably one of the 2 outstanding fast bowlers of this bat heavy decade.

PMSL ....Amla when qualification is gone against a terrible attack is flat track bullying like only he can. WAC.

Would not put it past him to not retire after this like he should after all,.,,,who smacks associates around and dominates pointless bilateral series like he does?

He is 37 years old. There's no way he'll be a decent player till the next World Cup. He must be binned from this format.

He probably deserves a farewell series if he wants. But that's it.

I dunno,,,if Ireland or the Netherlands qualify for 2023,,,he might be tempted to try and hang around for it.

Ag shame, cool story bro.

I am sure Amla will be devastated if he read your post

What would you say were his best knocks in a world cup in either format or champions trophy? He is after all supposedly a great limited overs player so there should be numerous ones to choose from.
