It was gratifying to have so many members voting in this poll. I hope the interest can be sustained over the coming days.

The first two qualifiers for our list come as no surprise. They clearly were the leaders from the opening of voting. Third wasn't as clear-cut but I believe that subsequent positions will be more fiercely contested.

59 - Gilchrist; 42 - Knott; 8 - Ames; 6 - Sangakarra; 5 - Healy; 4 - Watling; 3 - Cameron; 2 - Waite, Marsh; 1 - deVilliers
