Surprising to see Hussey dropped.. I thought he'd been hitting em well for Australia A and surely Victoria wouldn't have anyone that was his quality to replace him...

yeh, he is a class player. but he's only averaging 23 this year in pura. and after rummans got 233* on the weekend in grade cricket, and he hasnt done too much wrong when he's had a game in the first class side, some might argue that they had to find a spot for him.

interesting how before hussey got dropped, not many people would have said that he's had a "poor" season, but once it gets put in the limelight, he hasnt been all that crash-hot. anyways, vic will lose this week and they'll put huss straight back in.

i thought the big mistake was dropping inness. hope he goes to another state next year, plays every game, and dominates. he's been treated fairly ordinarily this (and last) year by victoria.

ok, he hasn't been all that good this year, but the fact is that he was south australia's highest run-scorer last year in pura (IIRC). bit harsh to call him "disappointing".

NSW are 1/85 against Queensland, Jaques is on 44 and Bichel's taken 1/16 of 8.

Tasmania are 3/120 against WA, Bevan's on 51 and Marsh is on 50 and Magoffin has 2/23. Tasmania were 3/23.

SA are strugling again at 4/57, Williams made 37 and Lewis has 2/11.

Give the guy a chance, he has played in 3 games all of which NSW have been in trouble.. You want him to come in and hit 50 off 50?? This guy will be another star of the future... be patient

I meant disapointing this year. Considering the amount of praise that has been heaped apon him, you'd expect him to be Bradman.

Plus it isn't hard to be South Australia's highest run scorer these days.
