11 Ernie Toshack o (4)

Not too shabby in the batting dept with each of the top five averaging 40+. Have three genuine quicks at my disposal with Toshack's left arm medium & Yasir's leggies to spice things up a bit. Am confident also with Constantine at the helm, hopefully I'll be in with a shout here. 199 Tests in total.

Pretty happy with that team. Solid top 6; including the Rhodes of SA before Rhodes was. 7-9 all know which end to hold the bat on... Good pace attack, and even a Dr that can spin the ball a bit. Spot on total of 200.

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Fred's Fertangs completed by one of the greatest wicketkeepers ever, just a shame he gives me a bit of a tail, but Iverson will rapidly mop up anyone who isn't blasted out by Richardson, McDonald and Flintoff and the batsmen will have no trouble getting enough runs

Incidentally, if anyone wants to pick a player that no-one above them could pick, I don't see any objection to them jumping the gun.
Josh Hazlewood (16) then - before the toss today :p

1. Archie MacLaren
2. Phil Jacques
3. Jack Ryder
4. Douglas Jardine
5. Adam Voges
6. Dinesh Chandimal
7. Allan Steel
8. Bobby Peel
9. George Lohmann
10. Josh Hazlewood

AldoRaine18 might want to pick him (I'd be surprised, looking at his team so far, but it's not inconceivable).

More to the point, I've miscounted somewhere, and you've only got 14 Tests left to use. Sorry, my fault.

Seems fairer to me that Howe keeps Hazlewood if Aldo doesn't pick him.

Especially if Howe had specifically pre-planned Hazlewood during the last few rounds or so based on the tallies given.

Checking back, I made the mistake when announcing Round 11 (161+25 does not equal 184...), so Hazlewood can't have been a pre-planned pick.

Incidentally, if anyone's checked the figures and is wondering, Howe_zat picked Adam Voges before the last Test (his 14th) had finished, which I decided counted as Voges having played 13 Tests (having said at the start that for current players it was based on Tests played at the time they were picked).

Pretty pleased with how that went. Bowling attack is phenomenal and the batting is alright. Decent number of good bowling options as well.
