Whatever it takes!!!
Funny game this. Really good batting conditions almost all test, super fast outfield and a very fast scoring ground and so many 100s and yet no one even made it to 150.

Come on boys, target 50 runs in next 45 mins and then declare.

Given weather tomorrow, and the fact that Bumrah will be here for three games, so that’s the time to bowl aggressively - this is the time to go for it.
If weather does intervene and Bumrah ends up bowling less, it's not so bad. there's still a fair chance he may end up playing 4 tests.

I wouldn't declare today. Declare overnight IMO. Give Bumrah the day off.
Rain tomorrow. And five overs per day isn’t that bad. Only getting a draw is a loss for India given the two that they play without Bumrah, they’d be very lucky to get out with only a draw.

how bad is the weather expected to be tomorrow?

I mentioned to my friends yesterday that I hoped we play 100 overs and score 350. So we are well on course for that.

341 ahead, 5 wickets left, rain around tomorrow and this is the mindset?
Yes. And let's bat all day tomorrow if we can. Maybe Stokes pulls a hamstring bowling his 40th over and Brook breaks a finger dropping a catch at slip. **** giving Bazball a sniff at a chase.

To be honest, it's not as bad as they were originally predicting. I think they may go off for a bit around lunchtime, but it's clear towards the end of the day so they could make up time at the end. Could be a late one....

Ah ffs. Very soft. He was playing in front of his body all innings, wasn't waiting for the ball. Might have been too nervous. At least he got 20.
