Feel like his thought process was basically that it worked for duckett so would work for him as well. That and he’s really bad against spin.

That was the absolute most brain-dead, purely lunatic innings I've seen. I've never seen such sustained, monotonous idiocy before.
I think there was method in it, spinning sharply from outside off, you couldn't get out lbw playing that shot. But it was a bit predictable for setting the field.
