Good drop there. Classic case of hard hands.

And now couldn't pick up the ball. Same fielder  Come on, dude.

No Fakhar is not unknown entity Rameez..yes the PSL got him noticed but he has been averaging 50 at 80+ SR in List A from before the last World Cup 2015, so over 2 years now..but yeah Pak domestic cricket is unknown entity to you

Yeah as I said, England still far ahead as a side and their approach of smashing even when losing wickets would negate any inroads created by the seamers and Pakistan batting will never be able to mach up. Have to disagree about Amir in CT. As I said, its easy to forget how well he bowled against India given the lacklustre performance all around him.

Now 91Jmay, you had said you would rather face Pakistan/Sri Lanka over South Africa earlier in one of the threads. Why though? Just interested given South Africa's performance in ICC tournaments and both these sides have looked better than South Africa, regardless of who qualifies.
Because one or two games doesn't change the fact that Ab, Faf, Amla, De Kock exist. Sri Lanka/Pakistan aren't going to be walkovers but their strengths go up against our strength, and I back out strength over any bowling attack. Where as if a strong batting line up went second against us I'd back them in most cases unless we go 350+.

I would still want to face South Africa in a knockout because in a tournament..it isn't about who's the better side overall, it is about that 1 game.

Yeah that is true.

This is why I'd fancy either of these two teams though. Score 280, which i'd back us to get past fairly comfortably and you can put them under so much pressure.

I rate Imad, but these two must build a partnership else they will leave too much for the lower order to do.

Anyone's game now though.
