    Deleting threads

When a thread such as that tripe that appeared in Cricket Chat today is closed, why is it not also deleted? Is this a policy decision or is it a fear of screwing the post count and corrupting the data base which used to happen on older forums?

I dunno but I'm gutted it was closed as I had a picture of Jon Bon Jovi ready to post

I usually only delete when it's a spam-bot. Since this wasn't, I just closed it. It's not any kind of policy or database reason.

Not obviously this time actually, but I can't be certain.

Absolutely out of order to accuse Prince EWS of this

    The usual suspect?

    TAFKA Precam?
Cricket Web's 2013/14 Premier League Tipping Champion

    - As featured in The Independent.

"The committee discussed the issue of illegal bowling actions, and believed that there are a number of bowlers currently employing suspect actions in international cricket, and that the ICC's reporting and testing procedures are not adequately scrutinising these bowlers."
    - Even the ICC's own official press release thinks things must change

Actually I didn't mean him - unless who I am thinking of was him all along

I hope the reasoning was clear enough for the original poster. I don't think we need to go down a route of discussing who the troll might have been.
