Excellent win fellas. Absolutely demolished their batting, Liam the star. I`m very happy with two top-order wickets, but even better is the win. Let`s take out the titles, and don`t worry Tom, I`m sure you`ll get a bowl next game.

There was no room for any more pressure, and yet Rob Malone played the One Day innings of his career. In an almost must-win game for both sides, and playing in front of the opposition crowd, Malone scored an unbeaten century, and a career high.

The Greens charged to 279/3 in 50 overs, and aside from a heroic knock from Ian Markus, the Reds never seemed in the chase, on a pitch which offered assistance to the seamers. The win places Green that much closer to the OD final, as they remain in a position to potentially take the top OD spot.

For the Reds, the season is officially over in terms of trophy challenge. With 5 consecutive OD losses down the stretch, it's a disappointment to say the least, especially considering the 5 consecutive wins which immediately preceded it.

After my average of 2 wickets per game in FC cricket, I don't deserve it!

Er, how come it says I was opening the batting when it was Feeney who was picked for that? xD glitch.

Good win otherwise, Greens, Malone batted like a king, and a nicely paced half century from the skipper. Rose bowled excellently as did Hoy, and all the boys contributed with wickets. Great game for us at a crucial point in the season.

No glitch. Feeney is injured and you were 12th man. The selectors would do well not to pick injured players.

This applies to Red too. Dauth is injured.

Ah right, fair enough. How many other instances in dev league have there been where a player opens the batting in the same season as batting number 11? B)

you have also played as a specialist bowler and a specialist batsman now...
