Awesome finish by Milne. Too many slower ones from the Mumbai boy.

I don't understand either TBH, don't think most do. Perhaps because batsmen try to go hard against him after getting choked by Malinga and Kulasekara upfront. Regarding his Test career, take a look at the records of our 'frontline' pacemen. Perera is right up there! :D Dammika Prasad Suranga...

**Official** Group C Discussion - Sri Lanka, South Africa, Zimbabwe

Not the perfect outing SL would have wanted, although the scorecard suggests otherwise. Batting was patchy. Munaweera at the top couldn't get going, hopefully he can adjust quickly. Ground fielding was abysmal as well, lots of direct hits missed, sloppy outfielding and throws not getting...

Best Matches of the Past Decade

No match involving SL? In Tests that's believable, a boring Test side. Maybe this ODI makes the cut: 1st ODI: Australia v Sri Lanka at Melbourne, Nov 3, 2010 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

The Bad Shot Hall of Fame

Younis Khan's dismissal in the 2nd Pakistani innings of this match. Pakistan were comfortably placed at 285/1 when he attempted the reverse sweep to a full toss from a part time offspinner, only to edge it behind. Pakistan collapsed to 320 all out

Can someone tell me whether the domestic teams of Gul and Oram qualified for the Champions League? I want to find out if Uva Next needs a completely different new ball attack. If so, they're going to be so screwed and will carry forward the rich tradition of Wayamba of getting Sri Lanka utterly...

Not sure, but I know a world where Oram went for 6 runs and Gul for 48. Gul bowled mostly rubbish, along with Fernando. Too much short stuff on a seaming track. Oram on the other hand found the right length right from the start and stuck to it + he didn't bowl at the death.

Do you think Murali was a chucker?

So my take is that people who voted as 'yes' have no idea about the related cricket rules or just want to go by what they see on TV screen?

**Official** Pakistan in Sri Lanka 2012

We saw what sort of wickets get warnings when AUS toured SL last year. ICC are perfectly satisfied with SSC type pitches, which is a tragedy really. It's not T20s that are killing Test cricket you see.

**Official** Pakistan in Sri Lanka 2012

Quite right Lostman. 19 Tests so far at Galle, with only 4 draws. 2 of those draws were because of rain, and one ended with SL needing only one wicket to win. I'm not so sure what Agent Nationaux meant by "a typical flat track" though. We can see the ball gripping and spinning already. But...

    Whatever happened to Copeland?

Thanks for the input on his recent shield performances. Yeah it was way harsh on him to be dropped straight away after the SL tour without any apparent reason, and now it seems there's no way back for him. Maybe he'll hope all Australian pacemen go under a wicketless couple of years in...

    Whatever happened to Copeland?

Is it just that he was blown away by pace? When he toured SL recently I thought he had a good future ahead of him. Yes he lacks pace, but for a medium pacer to perform like he did on SC tracks, you got to have some serious talent. But he seems now to be completely out of the radar.

Nothing much to read from the match, just that the team which was less abysmal won. Still can't figure out how PAK managed a collapse like that.
