Aaron should be dropped in place of some other guy, was way too erratic last time.

*Official* Sri Lanka in South Africa 2011/12

He might really want to do that because his current Test record against SL is horrible, both home and away. No centuries against them too. Now that Murali isn't there things will be easy.

Why was Alviro dropped in the first place? I thought he was doing quite ok. SL to be spanked in the Tests btw.

    Wastemen etc

the fact is if dilshan can get off to a flier, he can put the opposition on the back foot right from the start. plus it can be a boost to other batsmen in the middle order who seem to be in a bit of a shell these days. but he obviously doesn't have the temperament or technique to conquer...

    Rank, the Indian Batsmen

:laugh::laugh: nice little title there. if we see about it without the comma, i see most of you have ranked them based on performances of this series only. that's a bit harsh when it comes to the likes of tendulkar and laxman. dravid should be at the top at all times though.

The types of the Bowls manufactured and their differences.

:laugh: on topic, yes the duke ball swings more and swings longer than other types of balls, but i've seen people say that the 2011 duke ball isn't swinging as much as previous versions. don't know the truth about it though. and about the SG ball they use in india, i've heard the likes...

    Worst ODI batsman in 2000s

we'll have to set some qualification standards. say, 60 matches minimum? otherwise can't say whether he's a REAL failure or not. Batting records | One-Day Internationals | Cricinfo Statsguru | ESPN Cricinfo

    Worst ODI batsman in 2000s

yep it has to be him, and by quite a distance too. in other countries, perennial failures like these get axed after a considerable amount of chances are given, but the sri lankan selection system somehow keeps him in their team despite repeated failures. can't understand the reason...

    Anderson Vs Khan

zaheer is woefully out of form and match practice. for him to be his normal self again it will take about 2-3 matches i think. all will be over by then. anderson to rock the series, barring the opening match at lord's where it won't swing at all.

    Tour Matches

without sehwag at the top, and zaheer seemingly out of form, this is going to be difficult for india. but history suggests they're slow starters when touring, so hopefully by the 2nd or 3rd test they'll be back in their groove.
