    cricketing narratives that aren't true

No, your point is wrong. England in the 90s were dreadful and had a heck of a lot of very bad players. That's nothing about you posting it - if anyone had tried to claim otherwise they'd have gotten the same response.

Do you ever feel powerplays and fielding restrictions are kind of dumb?

How would that be anything resembling proper cricket though? At least fielding restrictions try and get things to look fairly similar to how the game was originally invisaged.

Do you ever feel powerplays and fielding restrictions are kind of dumb?

Obviously it'd be much better without fielding restrictions and 9 fielders on the boundary...

    Except they did.

    cricrate: new cricket ratings website

Except you clearly don't when you come out with the tripe that you do, and yet again you're trying to be funny by referencing my title. Like your rankings, your humour is shite.

    Ashwin's streak and position

Wait, so Swann didn't play 75% of his games in helpful conditions? Makes the 24 vs 29 comment look predictably misinformed and inaccurate.

***Official*** Australia in South Africa + South Africa in Australia 2016/17

What's with the ****** domestic team names? Christ, it makes Birmingham Bears seem almost reasonable.

    **Official** England in Bangladesh 2016

From what Stokes has said post-match, was that also provoked?

Mowbray? Not as bad as the start to this season made out.

    Dhoni Vs Gilchrist in ODIs.

So the only ones you find are part time wicket-keepers, thus confirming Gilly as GOAT keeper. Thanks.

    **Official** England in Bangladesh 2016

I wouldn't call him fine to be honest. Leaks far too many runs and doesn't run through sides to justify the economy rate.

    Pakistan Rise to Number 1

Be better then turning to Gambhir. In all honesty though, is it that settled a top 6? Ashwin was in it a few games ago, Pujara seems to be in and out of it as well. Even before these injuries the openers seemed to be changing fairly frequently.

    Pakistan Rise to Number 1

Such a settled top 6 that you're about to utilise your third different opening partnership in 3 Tests.

    Dhoni Vs Gilchrist in ODIs.

    Oh he most definitely is.

***Official*** New Zealand in India 2016

That suggests to me that Williamson is fit and they know that him and Jeets on one team means an innings win for NZ. Theyre using the court thing as a cover...

    **Official** County Cricket 2016

The ECB should be allowed to void that contract as it was entered into under false pretences and when the county couldn't afford it. Scaly's reference to debts is irrelevant as others have been able to cover their immediate and short term requirements, hence not needing bailing out. This...
