    I’d think that you’d effectively have to double staffing costs for security/catering etc. at each ground plus you’d need extra people on the broadcast side of things as you’d need more cover. That’s before you even think of accommodation costs for fans / teams etc.

    There's this up and coming Pakistani called Shahid Afridi I've heard of. Big hitting batsman who bowls leg spin. I think he's going to be in their next under 19 World Cup squad with a view to progressing to the full side after that.

    These new rules are ridiculous. There was one in today’s game where one of the players was offside in the middle but the flag didn’t go up and the hall ended up going out for a throw level with the penalty area rather than a free kick 30-35 yards from goal. Not sure that’s fair on the defending...

    Not sure it was that iffy. Clearly they didn’t want to lose a wicket early on so spent some time to play themselves in and have the added bonus of using up Shakib’s overs up. For him to have now bowled 7 out of the first 15 and us to have 101-0 on the board is massive.
