    He is 12 wickets short.

With those two wickets, he has brought his bowling average below his batting average. From now on he is oficially an all-rounder :) .

Earlier this test Strauss showed a pic with Woakes of old's and New Woakes' deliveries simultaniously. It was good see that the slower delivery actually had a yard to travel, whereas the faster delivery had arrived at the crease. I like the phrase 'gaining a yard of pace' from a linguistical...

I still like him. Not as much as Atherton & Hussain. But imho he is lot better than Warne or Botham. Anyway, for now he's been replaced by the Real Sociedad corner kick training specialist........

The sun doesn't need to shine on a warm day in Jamaica? Or what? Weird stuff....

Well, can I? I know & understand this site has a famly friendly auto sensor. But personally, I really don't care, and would prefer to see whatever words my fellow posters choose to use.

I guess it makes sense when there is a forecast for rain on days 4 and 5.

People tend to judge by the score board. A thing that will probably never change. Not withstanding Jordan indeed bowled some nasty filth today as well.

I'm not saying Jordan bowled like champion today, but he did produce 4 edges iirc; one dropped by Cook (harsh to call it a drop), one landed in front of slip, inside edge to fine leg and a boundary between slip and gully.

Hmmmm, we could make a case for Jordan being a bit unlucky not to pick a wicket today.

Well, Jordan looks a bit better than earlier on.

Missing the pad was obvious, but the very very tight touch of the glove? Not sure. Anyway, mood point.

First of all, you get up too late, considering there is Test Cricket to be watched. Having said that, I think it's fair to say Broad bowled a very very good line all day, smartly varying his length. I can't believe I say so, but it really looked smart.

You can't honoustly expect an umpire to see that and being pretty sure about it. I even doubt England would have reviewed that, would they have had the opportunity.

Sure man! Try to pull the 4th ball of your innings........... It's really the sort of batting you can't even accept at the lowest levels of village cricket.

I gues I can live with this mistake :) . & Harmisonesque

It turned out to be. Ending quite tensely in a draw, while SA were a dozen run shorts chasing 450 or so. Still, India were bowled out pretty cheaply in their first innings, with Kohli making that ton.

That's good cricket by England. Now, let's see what Kohli makes of the day. He has tonned up in Perth and J'burg (I think), but still has a point to prove by doing well in England.

Hmmm, I have to agree somewhat. Everyone important will obviously play cricket themselves tomorrow, so it would indeed be best to finish this off today.
