Do ODI's mean thta much more to Indians than Tests? I can that when it concerns an ODI worldcup, but otherwise? Dhoni would, imho, make it into any Test XI currently active in the world.

Australian Tests are usually from 1:00am to 8:00am. That's even worse, I guess.

Wow! I've only managed to watch the last couple of overs, but this really looks to be a good Test. India have built a basis to become the first tourists to take a win at the Gabba, since........, well, I can't really remember! I know it's to soon to say! But if India do well tomorrow in the...

God point, I think. I agree that a common sense boundary on banter is indeed that it shouldn't stop or slow down the game.

I'm not so sure about that. I can see why a bit of banter is supposed to go from fielders to batsmen, as the purpose is trying to break concentration. Generally, batsmen getting involved in sledging or discussions are signs of sillyness, as they only are drawn out of their concentration. But...

LOL, I was refering to the word whippersnapper

That's an odd metaphore for what might arguably be the most mature partnership by two Englsih batsmen in ODI's since a long time.

I'm reading cricinfo while monitoring a test (13-14 year olds). I came across this phrase: Nicking runs like two whippersnappers... Before I google it. Do you native English speakers know what they mean here?

I see! I didn't mean to nitpick on spelling. I simply wasn't aware there was a Pakistani player with Haris as a given name (which makes me wonder: Is it a proper/original Pakistani name, or an English one?). Anyway: impressive FC batting record! Makes one wonder why he hasn't been able to...

Since there is no Harris in either side involded, I feel inclined to ask what you are trying to say here.

Well, he's not having a bad game so far. And his beard can almost compete with those of Moeen and Amla!

Does anyone have some info on Anton Paul Devcich (who just got a fair bit of luck with that LBW missing the leg stump by a foot)? He's completely unkown to me, yet 29 years old.

Phillip Hughes CW support banner at Melbourne and Sydney Test match

Yeah, paypal should be it, I guess. I just checked both my banks' websites. Transferring via bank is ridiculously expensive

Count me in. Not sure if transferring money from Holland to Australia is reasonably possible (sending 10 or 20 dollars, if banking costs are that amount again, makes little sense if we are trying to find 100 dollars). Then again, I might have some Aussie cash somewhere....... Just let me know!

If the Subcontinent teams are going to be poor, for playing in Australia, and if Aus will be poor, for having a crap team, and if SA will choke, and if the WI won't send their best players, it's gonna be England! Yup, England are clearly massive favourites for this WC!
