I missed it. But all wickets have been out to thoroughly rotten shots so far. Edit: I just saw it. Why, oh why...

Just bizarre shot. Why advance down the pitch to Morne? So much for all the pre-series hype.

David Hussey was getting the ball to turn sideways in that match. But it's always good to see someone make Pollard look like an idiot. The batting line-up looks kind of dodgy for the Aussies. I don't like the look of the back-end. Marsh for Watson seems a very unequal exchange. Who has Finch...

I think they've read 'How to Commentate' by Ian Healy and Tony Greig. Horribly familiar style if you are an Aussie.

He's good and he doesn't look as revolting as Botha. Oh Shaun:(

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Punter has always backed Johnson to the hilt. Mitch owes him.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Every other bowler in Aus is in sick bay half the time but never him. I'm worried about the Warriors being stuck with him and his obscene good health sooner rather than later. They'll have to play him. Apparently Duffield is not fit enough to be considered for selection at present. Which says...

ICC ****s all over the game again - UDRS no longer mandatory

UDRS does lead to a lot of amusement though. Things like Watson referring every LB, and Prior's utter, utter lack of judgement over when to refer something. I'll miss these things if there are less referrals.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

According to the radio, it was poor batting mostly from both teams. I didn't expect much from this Warriors batting line-up, you only need to look at the stats to get your hopes down, but at least they could try holding their ****iing catches.

The tragedy with the dropping of David Hussey is being deprived of watching him bumble around like he needs a white stick when confronted with an even half-decent spin bowler.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Cameron was always a real risk of not playing much so he's hardly going to be missed, despite the hype.

    Predict Ricky Ponting's test future.

Tendulkar has been scoring runs solidly for the past four years. His slump, if you could call it that, came early enough for a resurrection to be worth while as he's averaged 60 in the past four years. Punter is nearly 37 and it just doesn't seem to be happening for him. The clock must be...

The other bowlers did ok. Anybody know if Tom Cooper is much of a hitter? I thought he was a slowcoach in the world Cup. They could have tried Christian up the order.

Same here, that's why I wanted to watch him getting smashed around or not. He shouldn't have a contract is my point. Anybody remember the CL win by the Blues? Lee was deadly in that tournament.

Young knucklehead Aussie quick bowler? Great haven't seen one of them since... I'd still like to watch him even getting smashed around. After all those old knucklehead selectors gave him a bloody contract.

Wow end of Starc's first over, my stream froze now it's back and I've missed both Cummin's overs.

I'm not a huge Siddle fan but he has a really lovely repeatable action and if he could find a brain, there's no reason why he can't be a very solid international performer. He's got far more mongrel in him than Johnson will ever have. It is contingent upon the brain thing though.

It's all a bit feeble, isn't it? Oh well, I mainly wanted to see Cummins bowl. NSW have batted like WA.

    Gee Dale is being generous.

Hughes sr is 111 - he's hardly likely to come out and smash it around on this pitch.
