    South African Domestic Season 2025/26

Waterkloof recruits are smart! Tough to get into the Titans. Especially and being blunt they produce white cricketers in large amounts. Bossr was some story. Typical Glenwood recruiting for their rugby for high school & Selborne & Glenwood had a massive fight and story was big at the time. He...

I'm happy with that. Kesh can focus on his stronger formats and with Shamsi we all know he has rarely stood up when it has mattered against quality and is a liability in the field so unless he is Immie Tahir levels or close to it it's a positive that we moving on.

Along with Rowles & Basson defo the picks of the next U19 batch. Maybe Majola as he has good pace.

Nothing was said but does seem odd if dropped although I do wonder like Delano Potgieter is he strong enough in one of the disciplines. Saying that, that was my criticism of Corbin Bosch 😂

These seem like improvements on the Windies A squads. Obviously guys like Breetzke, Pretorius, Brevis, Ferreira, B Fortuin & Burger not included. Bjorn in a T20 league? Seniors moved on from like Eddie Moore & Keegan Petersen in FC cricket. Other fairly experienced players not included like...

    SA Domestic History

The following players have 10+ Top tier SA Domestic FC 100s from 1950s onwards. Just a couple of reminders that guys in the 50s probably had more tour games than Currie Cup games. Even carried on into the 60s and a bit of the 70s. Once more teams started coming in the 80s there was more games...

Why no Rassie in ODI's? Shukri Conrad: "The immediate focus is the T20 World Cup. Rassie is very much in contention for that. He gives you the option of either batting at the top or at 3. He is great in a leadership position. With the 50-over format, because I have got a bit more time (I am...

I wonder if they feel they need experience for the T20 WC next year. And maybe they thinking he won't be around for 2027 so let's look at all the options. Corbin now officially jumped Gerald. Bavuma ODIs and Rassie T20s is irritating but they moving in the right direction with no Reeza in...

Markram and Rickelton are at peak ages now. They are our most important guys for the next few years and then the senior players in each format; Tests: Bavuma ODI: vd Dussen and Miller (move on from Bavuma) T20s: Maybe Miller (move on from Reeza and Rassie) We can move forward with that in my...

2nd smashing of over 100 runs for SA U19s yesterday. Rowles got to 50. https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/bangladesh-under-19s-in-south-africa-2025-1478010/south-africa-under-19s-vs-bangladesh-under-19s-2nd-youth-odi-1478016/full-scorecard Was just looking, if you include the England series...

    South African Domestic Season 2025/26

Massive thrashing by 130 runs. Looks like a massive gap to close in 6 months ahead of the world cup. Bulbulia got 70-odd & Rowles got hit on the head so had to retire. Those were the 2 scoring runs v England. Along with Basson. Probably our only 3 absolute banker's right now.
