New Zealand appoint new manager (version 2) using icc06

Not going too well. But great insight and good match reports. Keep it up (the reports, not the results!) :P

    ICC release date in Australia

For those of you in Australia, supposedly ICC 2008 game will be released on the 16th of August: http://palgn.com.au/article.php?title=Updated+Australian+release+list%2C+4%2F06%2F07&id=7797

    Pre-Order ICC 2007 & Cricket Coach

Yeah i know that some people post on here who are involved with Cricket Coach 2007. I know I am not one of them though. Good advice there, cpr. Waiting for the demos is a good idea, I am just wondering if they will release demos. I mean, both games are coming out in about two weeks, which...

    Pre-Order ICC 2007 & Cricket Coach

Look I am a massive fan of Football Manager and ICC. When I first got ICC 2001, I loved it and it was brilliant. But my opinion on it soured when I bought ICC 2006 and it was basically the same game with a data update and minor graphical changes. I think if Cricket Coach has the depth and the...

    Pre-Order ICC 2007 & Cricket Coach

Well, having only played ICC and a demo of Cricket Coach 2006, I can say that from appearances, Cricket Coach would be a better buy. If you have a look through the forum, you will see that ICC has a 'history' of shafting their consumers. They usually just do a data update and charge you fifty...

    Pre-Order ICC 2007 & Cricket Coach

Interesting that they are being released on the same day in a few weeks. And that Cricket Coach is cheaper than ICC. And that ICC will be on PS2 as well as PC and PSP. Very interesting indeed, thanks for this James. I am still leaning towards Cricket Coach, have not heard anything that is going...

    Cricket + Wii = Gold.

I get really frustrated with pitching. It seems no matter what I do they manage to hit home runs. And they never fall for my splitters.

Do you preffer BLIC/RPIC07 or 05.

Do you mean 05 or 07? Because you can change players names in 05 but not 07, and you have classic matches in 05 but not 07.

Do you preffer BLIC/RPIC07 or 05.

I think that 07 introduced some great features like you mentioned, as well as stumping (although that is poorly executed) and the opposition is not so timid. But they have gutted the games features, removing player editing, player stats in tournaments, new match modes, classic matches. For me...

    Cricket + Wii = Gold.

It could beome boring, but I dont think so. I think that would depend on the AI, and the fact that pitching is boring because baseball is boring :P

    Cricket + Wii = Gold.

I know that you could move the controller like a bat, but how would you be able to program edges? Or top edges? Lets say you are playing a cricket game on the Wii. The computer hurls down the ball at you and you move the controller like a bat. But what if you mis timed it? Would it be an edge...

    Cricket + Wii = Gold.

They have games such as Madden where you have to release the ball by throwing it and bowling. i have a Wii, and it would simply be a matter of holding down a button when bowling and releasing the button when you bowl. The bat would be the same as say a tennis racquet, but I dont think you...

Details on International Cricket Captain - World Cup Year 2007 released

I dont remember that from my game. I remember a 3D graphic showing the ball coming out and landing in one of six places (it seemed) every single time, and the ball not swinging or spinning or seaming. Just going straight on. I think they would have both Hawk Eye and the 3D graphic thing.

No I dont like the person, i just know he likes playing with himself. Playing cricket by himself I mean. And isnt the kids name Bam-Bam? Or is it just Bam?

I dont know anything about Sonic. But I know Sega has been going down the gurgler ever since the Dreamcast. We want a decent cricket game? We should pray that the US gets good at cricket, and it becomes mainstream. We would probably get an abundance of them then.

    Cricket Coach 2007 Announced

i hope it comes out, if you want I have some contacts within EB Games, a games store here. I can have a word and see if they will stock it. Otherwise I will swap ICC 2006 with CC 2007 and see it fly off the shelves.

Details on International Cricket Captain - World Cup Year 2007 released

I would like to see a bit more promotion of the game (ie. actually update the website or make a new site for the game) but maybe they are spending all the money on licensing the Hawk-Eye technology. This probably proves that their is money for development for the game, so they cannot get away...

    Cricket Coach 2007 Announced

Great to see Yorkie. Looks to be a good game and I cannot wait to play it. Still wondering if it will be in Australia or will I have to order online?

    Cricket + Wii = Gold.

I dont know how much it costs to actually make a game for the Wii, but I would estimate it would cost alot more than PS2. I am saying that any company that might want to make a cricket game for a console would just stick to PS2, PS3 or Xbox 360. It might happen down the track, but the thing...
