Cricket + Wii = Gold.

Have played on my friends Wii, admittedly only when pretty drunk, but they are such good fun. I'm seriously considering getting one (only thing stopping me is a lack of money/credit card/shoplifting skills), and a cricket game would make me starve for a month just to afford it.

Awesome idea :).....fast bowling would be pretty erm, I dunno, would require a little more space maybe ? Spin's cool. Batting out to be fun though :D!!!!!

Well if they made ten pin bowling ok then they could do the fast bowling fine.

It would be the greatest game ever made ever. Well, a close second to Lemmings.

I am loving the tennis game. FInally got my power serve going.

Anyone recommend any other games? As at the moment I only have Wii Sports and Wii play.

WarioWare? Might not be your type of game, but hey, what do I know?

They're the three games I've got, but you could also get Twilight Princess, it's pretty popular.

They make crappy tennis games for the Wii, why not make a crappy cricket game for it?
I know if they did make the game it would suck but it's playing cricket in your living room so the novelty will last for a good while.
Plus it would make as a great excuse to get off the computer.

I very much doubt that a cricket game would ever come about for the Wii. There simply is not a big enough market for cricket. Why do you think cricket games are always lacking in a production budget? Because companies know they cant sell a cricket game in Asia and the US, the two biggest markets.

I would love to see it, but it aint going to happen.

Me and my mate have been playing Wii Tennis recently, but with the added rule that you can only use the "back guys". Try it. It is awesome.

I dont know how much it costs to actually make a game for the Wii, but I would estimate it would cost alot more than PS2. I am saying that any company that might want to make a cricket game for a console would just stick to PS2, PS3 or Xbox 360.

It might happen down the track, but the thing is, any company would have to re design the controls on the game, and only Wii-only games or companies with deep pockets would do that.

True.

I'd count on another 10 sonic games being made for the Wii before we get a cricket game come up on the thinking boards.

Whats the story with that anyways?
Why did Sega sell sonic to Nintendo?

I dont know anything about Sonic. But I know Sega has been going down the gurgler ever since the Dreamcast.

We want a decent cricket game? We should pray that the US gets good at cricket, and it becomes mainstream. We would probably get an abundance of them then.
