Kallis vs Sobers, Donald vs Steyn, Trott vs Pollock

First of all I reckon this thread had all the ingredients to become a flame war. Good on all that it didn't (also some appeared to try ... ). These comparisons are always difficult to conclude and a definite yes or no will probably not be established. However, whenever you see people...

Fast bowler survival - rank the best fast bowlers of all time

    *Official* Quarters/Semis/Final General Discussion

Oh yes - they just might. But on paper and what I have seen from them they do appear to be a class spinner short which might bite them in the butt. But if they have a day where all bowlers actually turn up and not Lee on his own they can beat anybody anywhere in this WC . That said - the same...

    *Official* Group B General Discussion

Not arguing that I'd rather face them in the semis or the final. But yes - there's no more easy matches out there. Why? By far the best captain India had - ever. Losing perspective a little me thinks.

    *Official* Group B General Discussion

Well - the Aus - Ind match becomes a serious possibility with Aus 169/8 as it stands. Suits me - I'd much rather have SA against NZ anyway. 8-)

    *Official* Match 40 - Australia v Pakistan

What score could be realistically chased on that pitch? Only have cricbuzz to go by. And what is the average successfully chased score in Colombo? If I remember correctly it isn't all that high.
