NZ was my second favourite team - always a lot of fight in them and I remember hard fought matches here in SA - no quarters asked - none given. Gibbs is just stupid .... also threw away a lot of talent this way ..... But Pietersen is just a bagload of $@#% . Any union/club/confederation with a bit more spine would have given him the boot long time ago. So Pietersen it is.- longtom

Just caught it in the papers .... what a loss. I have the 438 DVD and that game, great as it was, wouldn't just have been the same without him and his commentary. "This is the greates 1day international ever played!" I took his word for it. A giant of cricket indeed - and will be sadly missed!!- longtom

Hayden was a character, irritating at times but still. Not even close to being in the same league as Asif. Ranatunga was a bit of a tool but again, against Asif a fair, good natured cricketer. You might have guessed - my vote goes to Asif. 8-)- longtom

Lions got 241/7 after 50. Pitch is a tat challenging. Cobras 69/2 after 11 with Tahir getting both wickets (Levi and Puttick) Match delayed due to rain. Not good. They are already replaying because there was no result due to rain yesterday as well ...- longtom
