Great fielders in each fielding position

I know this bloke is from South Africa, which is a country nobody but kinkkallis seems to know, but Brian McMillan was a gun at first slip - up there with the best. Hands like toilet lids ....:D Herschelle Gibbs at gully or backward point is another consideration I'd like to throw in.

I am always wary of these superlatives - they having a habit of exploding into your face. Having said that - he certainly has a good streak going, three 50s in a row and looking easy going when others struggle. One of the few batsmen who appear to get it right to look comfortable on almost any...

Philander out - Albie back in. Still no Botha ... I don't get it. If you don't plan to use him - release him to get more FC practice. Having said that - I reckon they have seen enough of Robby P by now. Is it quotas again?

It was - and all credit to them. However - fielding by SA was very poor, the bowling below par at this level and the batting listless to careless. They are experimenting so seeing how the second string could fit in in times of need. Need to experiment more me thinks ....

250 up in the 41st over .... any stab at the final score? I go for 330. Edit .... Cancel that ..... Great innings from ABdV nevertheless. What a great cricketer and sportsman - hopefully for many years to come. Revised expected score: 310

Duminy out - what's the weather like? Thinking of D/L - loosing wickets not going to help SA's cause in that regard ... well - in any regard really ... :p

cricbuzz: 35.6 Dilshan to de Villiers, 1 run, de Villiers comes down once more and works it down to long on Cricinfo: 35.6 Dilshan to de Villiers, 1 run, no footwork from AB as he punches the ball towards long-on So de Villiers came down the wicket without moving his feet. Isn't there a...

After this Malinga will have bowled 7 overs - only 3 left which surely have to be taken at the end. Nothing left to try and get a wicket in between should SA score freely. Good move that early batting pp me thinks.

Right - now for de Villiers and Duminy pushing on the score with some smart (you hear me - I said smart - not reckless) running between the wickets. No need to do anything overly aggressive . (read - stupid)

Kallis vs Sobers, Donald vs Steyn, Trott vs Pollock

 You really do hate him with venom, don't you. Surely Sobers never made 37 ... I will interpret your musings about Kallis accordingly ... :p
