4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

This is the problem with prodding and pushing. Smith doesn’t have a solid defensive game. Go out and play some shots, they have a license to.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

150 and out. What a noob! At least 555-5 is on the cards now.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Either big collapse coming or Smith lands some blows. Let’s go Bazball!

    That’s better from Stokes

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

I feel England are still just knocking it around too much. I don’t buy into the whole Bazball ethos but now would be the time to do it. 5 match Test series are like a heavyweight boxing contest. The best teams sense when their opponents are on wobbly legs and go in for the kill.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

England could put their feet down here and get a 230-250 run lead by stumps.

He did it in fewer innings and Tests than Ponting.

Jumping from 5 to 2 in one innings is quite impressive. Well done Root.

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Bethell should come in for Crawley. I’ve never seen a composed innings from him where he doesn’t look like always giving a chance to the opposition.

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

This win is all down to the toss and Stokes doing the right thing by batting first for once. This whole, “we’ll have a chase” is a statistically terrible decision in Test cricket. England might be good enough to pull it off every now and then but it’s not the right way to play in the long run...

    Joe Root is number one

Better than the rest of the fab 4 combined.

Which ridiculous Bazball win is the best?

I think the Hyderabad heist was the greatest because they really wouldn’t have been expected to win that. Even when Pakistan scored 550 here, I still had England as favourites to win.

Is this one of the funniest graphics produced by ESPN Cricinfo?

Why did they use the cricketers’ images in the histogram? 😂 I’ve never seen that done before but at least it highlights how Root is miles ahead of every other Test batter at the moment.

How is mentioning people from China racist? Is pointing out the systemic caste-based violence, murder, rape, burning down of villages etc in India also racist? You don’t have the moral high ground so stop trying to lecture me.

I said you have no experience of me. Sort out your own issues in India before you start calling others racist.

You’re the only person who has mentioned India. If you want to talk about discrimination there: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-66253389.amp Those who live in glass houses…

I just asked my wife (who is of East Asian descent) if I am racist. The response was that I should stop posting on cricket forums, which is probably sound advice. But the consensus was that I am not racist at all.

How is that casual Asian racism? Are you not aware of the bus loads of Chinese tourists around the world? Aussie “cricket fans” are similar to them. Nothing racist about it.

    Aussie Spectators

The Aussie supporters are mainly from the upper class as most Australians can’t afford to travel to England while taking a couple of months off work. Therefore, they are usually garbage and look like the bus loads of Chinese tourists you see around the world. Just there to get the t-shirt but...
