    He'd definitely had professionalism problems and fitness question marks pre England. For his whole career basically. Yeah he's not a world beater but I don't mind his white ball selection. Strange pathway there but we're not abounding in options. Don't know how he ended up in the Test team...

    They can pretty much hold their spots as batsmen at this point (Jadeja essentially is). When Pant was keeping wicket and batting 5 they definitely had space for Kuldeep, 3 quicks + the two spin bowling all rounders.
