I think most rugby fans overrate taking 3 points and the teams have figured out a much better balance, but that decision was too aggressive even for me.

Rugby players are hit in the head all the time. Never seen one grab their face/head like that before.

i think as a whole it's really icy ground to be policing how players react to head/neck contact when head/neck contact has been made (in all contact sports). yes, some players will be milking it, and others will walk away with concussions

now ofc as fans, we can do whatever we want, but still.

Yeah there are regs that say players aren't meant to use communication devices during games due to anti gambling rules etc, Russell could actually get a little slap on the wrist post match for that, and for the Lions covering the broadcast camera after that as well.
