This side of football is getting ugly and I hate it. You signed the contract and they don't want to sell you, be a professional and get on with it.
This.

Branthwaite got on with it when Man United didn't reach Evertons valuation last summer. Guehi has been chased by numerous clubs for over a year but hasn't downed tools. There is a way of doing it, Isak hasn't gone about it correctly.

But they gave him their word!? 🤷‍♂️

On this situation I don't think either side has gone about it the right way. Isak has a contract he should be honouring. If he wanted he could have gotten added some release clause, but he didn't. Even with a gentleman's agreement behind closed doors, his behaviour has been quite unprofessional.
However Newcastle have also done their player wrong. It's quite apparent that they have been on the look for strikers and haven't been able to sign a replacement, due to their own incompetence. Manchester United have basically banished Sancho, Hojlund etc from the first team and are doing everything possible in their power to get them out, despite the players wanting to stay. But they don't really face the same criticism when a player does the same thing.
Both club and player should have handled this situation better.

The question now is, having seen him chuck his toys out of the pram, will Liverpool still want him?

Disappointed with the loss to Leeds, but not surprised. You're going to struggle to beat many PL teams with no full backs and 1 winger in a system that's using full backs and wingers. Moyes has been shouting from the rooftops about needing more bodies and our recruitment team continue to let the club down. We need a RB, another winger and another defensive midfielder ASAP. Beto was a ****ing liability as well. Grealish must have wondered what he's joined. There was a moment where he took it past 3 Leeds defenders, fed it into Beto who took a touch like he was wearing bricks for boots and knobbed it straight back to a Leeds defender. ****ing useless.

As for the penalty. He's moved to block the shot, and in doing so has ended up blocking the ball with his arm. That's handball. Don't understand the big fuss about it. It's a penalty. Shitty way to lose a game, but we didn't deserve to get anything out of it.

I didn't really want him in the first place... my first choice is/was Rodrygo.

I am however fickle enough that I will welcome him to our club, if he joins. We've been on the receiving end of similar antics as recently as Coutinho so what comes around goes around.

Clubs never care about the toys out of the pram when it’s to join them. Liverpool will still want him
The question is, do they want him enough for £150m when he clearly comes with attitude, and centre forward is not exactly the problem position they have to fill?

Monday at St James' Park, Newcastle vs Liverpool will be a wild atmosphere
We're getting ambushed. I already have a punt on them to win it.

I can't see us caring as much as they will.. Then even if we do it's Grav's first game, Macca isn't 100%, Frimpong has a hamstring issue, Wirtz isnt up to speed yet, and we invested a ton physically and emotionally in that Bournemouth win (RIP DJ20🙏).

I really hope I am wrong.

I just really hope none of our players gets injured. Joelinton on Wirtz.... Even the thought of that scares me

Yeah, it's because he moved his body and in doing so moved his arm, even against his side, towards the ball. If he'd been standing still and pulled his arms in or dived but brought his arms Infront of his body it would've been fairer to have felt aggrieved.
